I loved this so much. I had trouble at first. I think a lot of the problem was figuring out what lines and shading to put where. I lost a lot of detail with the powder. Overall I think it had the desired effect.
I did a bruise on my nose and eye, a cut on my forehead, a scar on my chin, and a burn scar on my upper lip (I accidentally took it off, Opps). I'm happy with the bruise. The only problem I had was adding highlight and shadow to give it puffiness. The cut is good, it may be a little too angular, I worked it too much. The scar on my chin is healed but still a little red. I think I did just enough of a light touch to give it a realistic look. The same with the burn scar. Using latex, a little foundation and pink hues.
I learned a lot about gow to emphasize and deemphasize facial features. I learned a lot of great makeup techniques. I would work on my eyebrows more and my nose. Although I did learn that I can never make my nose completely straight
Corrective on partner. I'm definitely happy with how everything turned out. I wish I would have gave a little more highlight on the chin. I'm glad I kept everything soft while still not losing anything after powder.
I'm happy with how the thin side turned out. I think I would change the wide side a little, maybe add more shading and dimension. I learned a lot about shading and highlighting.
